Besides the erosion control mats, seeding, garbage clean up, live band, snacks, information...and a beautiful day for taking a walk and enjoying Earth!

Home Depot will be providing shovels & rakes etc. Top Notch Tree Service will be on site for you to "pole plant" DNR approved trees this year on the riverbanks!

Participation will be fun for everyone and donations are appreciated. All donations will go
directly to community service projects like this one! Possible entertainment this year and
refreshments provided while they last.

 ponchos
 your able body if you don’t have anything on this list!
 Save Maumee will provide these things until supplies are gone!

We are establishing projects to clean up the Maumee River. These self-supported community projects will raise awareness about the unsanitary conditions and begin the slow process of reversing years of pollution. Address all questions or comments to Abigail Frost (260) 417-2500.

Save Maumee Grassroots Organization was formed to create awareness about the conditions of the Three Rivers in Fort Wayne, IN, while facilitating ecosystem restoration projects. Ultimately, we are trying to improve and repair the the St. Joe, St. Mary, and Maumee Rivers to help reverse years of pollution.  Revitalizing the St. Joe/Maumee Watershed  will protect and restore the environment, while improving the economic, aesthetic and recreational value. We are organizing projects that place a high priority on monitoring, developing and restoring rivers with a positive environmental impact.
