plans to continue to develop and facilitate educational presentations
for young and old alike. Ryan hopes educating our community will bring great

River - directly upstream of the Maumee
Email Celia
Celia Garza is an Indiana native, whose inspiration to
do more, is driven by the hidden beauties of our simple state. She has a strong
calling to help conserve and preserve what nature provides us and to protect the
health of the public by raising awareness on the safe practices of erosion
control, dumping of toxic waste in rivers and streams, enforcement of current
EPA laws, and the implementation of cleaner and safer forms of energy. Her
passion is the key factor to her success as a community organizer and
environmental rights activist. She has a strong passion for community
involvement and a soft spot for the kiddies!!
Garza has been an active volunteer for the Save Maumee since 2008 and has become
involved with some hands-on projects for the Upper Maumee Watershed Partnership
Group since January 2010. From 2007-2009 she worked as the Senior Field manager
with the Citizens Action Coalition. Her experiences as an organizer lead her to
her niche in motivating, training and leading others to be successful organizers
and activists.
Celia Plans to further her college education at IPFW in fall 2010!!
